Welcome.

I hope this site will answer some of your questions. If you are considering therapy, please don’t hesitate to contact me to set up an initial consultation. I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults, couples, adolescents, emerging adults and parents. I have been practicing in Boulder, Colorado since 2011.

My goal is to help you understand your current difficulties, so that you can live a vital, fulfilling life and enjoy a fuller expression of your human potential. As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, utilizing a pluralistic, contemporary approach, I respond to your unique needs and goals, while aiming to resolve longstanding patterns that may be keeping you from more fully embodying and finding meaning in your life and psyche.

Through the unconscious, difficulties from our past can influence our present in ways unknown to us. The mind is very good at hiding from itself. When this occurs, it can hijack our ability to experience novelty flexibly, to be in fulfilling relationships, to parent effectively, or to look creatively towards a future. We can become drained of valuable guidance, creativity, psychological, spiritual, physiologic, relational and functional resources. My intention is to help access as many of these resources as possible, through a variety of means.

Whether you are looking for supportive psychotherapy, wanting to address specific symptoms (e.g. anxiety and depression), or wanting to take a deeper look at your life, relationships, and goals, I look forward to working with you.
